Nollywood actress Ifeoma Nebe has been confirmed as a guest at the Enugu Street Fashion Show (ESFS 3.0), themed "Ogbe N' Urban," holding on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at the International Conference Center, Enugu, by 3pm. The appearance brings the actress back to her home state for an event that blends street fashion with a music rave.
Nebe, full name Ifeoma Faith Nebe and popularly known as Queen Ify, is from Enugu State and made her Nollywood debut in the film "Old Wound." She has since built a filmography that includes "Mr and Mrs Richard," "Tales of Nmasi," "Premonition," "Retirement Plan," "Lagos Compound," "War of Maidens," "The Other Room," "You Whom I Trusted," "Ijedike," "The Living and the Dead," "Bound by Promise," "Helena's Quest," "Love in a Valley," "Bad Wife Material" and "Zamah," among others. She has described acting as hard but fulfilling work, recalling how intimidating her first time on set was, despite going in determined to give her all.
Before acting, Nebe held the title of Miss Global Ambassador Heritage, winning the pageant's second edition. She has carried that platform into philanthropy, running a foundation that supports widows, children and youths through projects including High School Reach Out, A Date with the Widows and Make a Child Smile. She has said her commitment to this work grew out of mistakes she made early in life, which she attributes to a lack of guidance at the time, and which now shape how she mentors young people.
Her entry into acting did not go down easily at home. She has said her parents were shocked by her decision, with her father threatening to disown her and the family holding repeated meetings over her career choice. Acceptance came gradually, built on her promise not to take on certain kinds of roles.
Nebe has also spoken candidly about fame and the attention that comes with it, particularly from overzealous male fans. She says she is direct about her lack of interest and will block anyone who does not take the message the first time, adding that she avoids the stress such exchanges can bring. Heading into this year, she has said she is setting fewer expectations for herself, preferring to meet whatever comes with patience and gratitude rather than fixed resolutions.
Her appearance at ESFS 3.0 adds a familiar Nollywood face to an event already drawing attention across Enugu's fashion and entertainment scene.
