BN Media Films, the team behind Class of Secrets, was among the first to share a tribute confirming her passing. In a statement posted on social media, they wrote: "We are deeply saddened by the loss of Jessica Ndigwe, who played Octavia in our series Class of Secrets. Jessica was a sweet soul, an amazing talent, actress, comedian and musical artist. Her talent, warmth and presence will be deeply missed. We pray that God gives her family, friends and everyone who loved her the strength and fortitude to bear this loss. Jessica may be gone, but her memory and the work she left behind will live forever. Rest on, Jessica. You will forever be missed."

Jessica first came to the attention of web series audiences through her appearance in Mostly Straight. It was her lead role as Octavia in Season 2 of Class of Secrets that brought her to a wider audience and established her as one of the more promising young actresses working in the Nigerian web series space. Alongside her acting career, she had been developing a music catalogue, and Konami had become her standout release, a hit that was still finding new listeners at the time of her death. The timing of her passing, so close to that release, has made the loss feel even more sudden for those who followed her work.

Tributes have continued to pour in across social media from colleagues, fans, and those who knew her personally, all describing her as a warm, vibrant, and genuinely talented young woman whose creative journey had so much further to go.
