Femi Adebayo has confirmed that "Jagun Jagun 2: War of Warriors" will premiere worldwide on Netflix on December 4, 2026. He shared the news with a teaser trailer on his Instagram page, days after the launch of his Euphoria360 Hub in Lagos.
The sequel follows the 2023 Yoruba epic "Jagun Jagun," which premiered on Netflix in August that year and followed a young warrior's rise within a feared warlord's army. Adebayo features in the new film alongside Lateef Adedimeji and Odunlade Adekola, with the full cast list yet to be confirmed.
The teaser carries a caption written by Adebayo himself. "Even in his absence, his name remained a curse whispered behind closed doors," it reads. "Some men are made by war, others are the reason kingdoms learn to fear it." The teaser gives no further detail on plot or returning characters, and Adebayo has not disclosed how the story continues from the first film.
Reactions followed quickly from within the industry. Actor Kolawole Ajeyemi commented, "They don't know what's coming." Actress Mide Martins wrote, "Anticipating," while Omowunmi Ajiboye added, "We can't wait."
Principal photography on the film was completed in 2024, meaning the sequel has spent close to two years in post-production ahead of its premiere. "Jagun Jagun" remains one of the most successful Yoruba-language productions to come out of Nigeria in recent years, and its return comes as Adebayo continues to expand his footprint in the industry through Euphoria360 Hub, the creative space he opened in Lagos.
