Precious Duru

I am an actor deeply committed to the craft of storytelling. As a professional with six years of experience in Theatre, Film and Television. I have dedicated my career to exploring the human condition through the lens of character. My journey has taken me from school drama, church drama to the professional sets of The Rising Sun, Visa on Arrival, Sex for Marks. Most recently, I had the privilege of working on The One I Chose, where I portrayed Adaeze (lead role). That experience was pivotal in shaping my understanding of Emotional availability, Vocal control, Body awareness, Dramatic timing and Stamina. To me, acting is an exercise in empathy. It is a chance to step into another person's shoes and ask the question, "Why?" I am drawn to narratives that are not just entertaining, but revealing films that make the audience feel seen and understood. I believe that my combination of technical training, emotional intelligence, and resilience makes me an asset to any production. I am an actor who is ready to work.
