Stage play lovers are in for a compelling theatrical experience as Yemi Akande's "My Room, My Doom" prepares to hit the stage at the upcoming Lagos Fringe Festival.

Presented by Hubert Ifokanbale Productions, the stage production is scheduled to show across two days, Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 8, 2026, at the Ideas Lab (Venue 4), J. Randle Centre, Onikan Roundabout, Lagos Island, with performances starting at 4:30 PM daily.

Directed by Hubert Ifokanbale and produced by Zainab Yunusa, the play features a solo performance starring actor Olude Omotola Molly.

Billed as a dramatic exploration of justice, personal secrets, and moral confrontation, "MY ROOM, MY DOOM" tells the story of Bimbo, a woman trapped in a cycle of abuse from childhood into marriage. When years of suffering lead to a tragic confrontation, she must face the consequences of her actions. Before passing judgment, audiences are challenged to hear her story and decide: Guilty or Not Guilty?.

Ticket tiers for the stage production have been structured to accommodate students and theatergoers, starting at 5,000 Naira for students with valid identification, 10,000 Naira for regular admission, and 20,000 Naira for VIP seating. Passes are available via the official Lagos Fringe ticketing platform.

The production is supported by Satfarms, GenMEDIA360, DOSF, and Boyco's Food.
